Association
Management Group (AMG) is a professional service firm
that provides experienced staff, proven practices and shared infrastructure
resources to help volunteer leaders achieve their goals, lead
their organizations, serve their members, advance their professions
or industry and all this with economies of scale and efficiencies
which stand alone organizations simply are not able to achieve.
By leveraging our expertise, technology and experience, we offer
association leaders the ability to obtain customized, high-quality
and cost-effective solutions to solve short-term problems, seize
emerging opportunities, address critical issues or improve effectiveness
in critical programs or functions.
Approximately 500 Association Management Companies (AMCs) are
members of the American
Society of Association Executives Management Company section,
whose section council is currently chaired by Bruce Wardle, CAE,
president and CEO of Association Management Group. Over 3000 non-profit
organizations are managed by AMCs and located in 47 states and
five other countries. AMG is the largest Washington, D.C. based
AMC, with a staff of 120 professionals, who provide management
services to over 40 clients; include full-service management,
PR and marketing services, certification program consulting, meeting
and event services and organizational guidance.
The term full-service management means that AMG becomes an independent
contractor to a client and provides a full range of services,
facilities and assigned executive
and administrative staff. These services are customized to
the needs of each organization and could include an array of headquarters
activities, financial services,
IT and ecommerce services, membership
or certification services,
meetings/event and exhibition services, marketing/communication
services, government affairs and advocacy services, and education
and professional development services, to name a few.
