AIIS Becomes the Third Client to Select AMG in As Many Months

The American Institute for International Steel (AIIS) Signs Full-Service Contract with Association Management Group

MCLEAN, VA - July 12, 2007 - AMG continues its steady growth with the signing of its third client this summer. The American Institute for International Steel (AIIS) joins AMG, beginning Monday, July 16, when the association moves its headquarters from downtown Washington to AMG's office in Tysons Corner . AMG's track record in successfully building membership influenced AIIS's decision to join the AMG family.

“An association is only as strong as its membership,” said AIIS executive director, David Phelps. “AIIS is looking to AMG and their expert marketing staff to help us increase our member base and grow as an organization.” Joining Phelps in the move are membership coordinator Alexandra Jopp and director of public relations Daniel Elder.

“AMG will provide the infrastructure support for AIIS that will allow them to focus on key strategic issues for the near and long-term future,” said J. Bruce Wardle, CAE, president and CEO of Association Management Group. “I have every confidence that our economic savings and efficiencies will help AIIS grow into an even greater competitive organization. Most importantly, AIIS will gain access to a wealth of membership marketing professionals who will offer insight on creating and sustaining successful campaigns.” In existence for more than 50 years, AIIS's primary mission is the promotion of free trade and economic growth in the steel industry.

AMG's business has grown nearly 25 percent in the past year, with an additional 5 to 10 percent revenue increase expected for the remainder of 2007. AIIS is the company's third new client in the second quarter of 2007. In May, AMG signed contracts with two new clients: the National Association of Hispanic Publications Inc., formerly headquartered in downtown Washington , D.C., and DBA International, formerly headquartered in Santa Fe Springs, Calif.
