DBA International and Association Management Group Execute Contract for Full-Service Management
Association Management Group's Expertise Draws California-Based Association Cross-Country to Manage and Grow Nonprofit Association
MCLEAN, VA - May, 4, 2007 - DBA International, a financial services trade association, today announced its selection of one of the top five association management firms in the country, Association Management Group ( AMG ), citing the firm's ability to take the organization to new levels of success. The transition of management will begin immediately with a contract start date of June 2007, during which time AMG will lead a strategic planning session for the DBA Board to map the future of the association.
DBA International, located in Santa Fe Springs , Calif. , for the past 10 years, will officially change its headquarters address to AMG 's office in the Washington , D.C. metropolitan area next month. DBA International is dedicated to continually providing its members with proven management, best practices, ethics, educational programs and networking opportunities. AMG will provide their experience and expertise to achieve effective meetings management, strategic direction and planning, member relations services, and leverage all management aspects to help DBA International fulfill its objectives.

Members of the search committee comprising DBA International volunteer leaders, led by Secretary of the DBA International Board of Directors Stuart Blatt, dedicated themselves to researching an association management company that would meet the growing needs of the association. Working on a short timeline, search committee members visited AMG offices, held several telephone conference calls with AMG senior management, and unanimously decided that AMG was the best solution for their organization.
