Chief Technology Officer
Scott Hall has worked in and around nonprofits for nearly 15 years. During that time, Scott has worked for Association Mangement Companies, directly for non-profits, and for technology vendors who provided services to non-profits.
Here at AMG, Scott facilitates the:
- Migration of our new clients into the ClearVantage database system
- Implementation of interactive Web pages
- Chairs the Technology and ClearVantage Users’ Groups
- Manages AMG’s external contractors
In addition to this, Scott consults with our in-house clients to help them stay atop of the every changing landscape of trends in technology and social media. Scott works with closely with the in-house staff to best position our clients so that they not only maintain and improve contact with existing members, but connect with the industry at large as well.
Prior to coming to AMG to serve as our Chief Technology Officer, Scott worked in the areas of Certification, Membership, Education, and Communications. Scott’s deep roots in nonprofits allows him to look at issues not only from an IT perspective but from the association side as well. When working with a client, Scott does not just look at not just the stated goal of the project, but the motivations behind the projected as well as the expectations for the final solution/product, allowing for a more robust and tailored solutions.
In addition to Scott’s nonprofit experience, he worked for a Web development Firm, Heuristic Solutions, where he served as a Developer/Analyst. Scott’s responsibilities included:
- Gathering and analyzing project Requirements
- Architecting solutions for Web and database projects
- Serving as the primary point of contact for clients
Scott has a BS in Public Administration from George Mason University, as well as a Web Development and Internet Technologies Certificate from George Mason University.
