Alana Joyce, CAE selected to head the largest association of political professionals in the world.
McLEAN, Va.,—Association Management Group, Inc. (AMG)
appoints Alana Joyce, CAE as Executive Director for the American
Association for Political Consultants (AAPC) beginning June 15. Joyce
will oversee all AAPC general management, membership growth and
retention, as well as annual conference functions including the Pollie
Awards to recognize excellence in political consulting practices.
"Alana’s successful management of million dollar plus
association budgets will be an extremely valuable addition to our
growing organization,” said Dale Emmons, President-elect of the AAPC.
“I look forward to working with her and our board to expand AAPC
offerings and grow our membership of political consultants from the
local level to the White House.”
Joyce’s recent tenure at the Global Business
Travel Association equips her with the expertise to steer AAPC forward
to achieve its strategic mission. An experienced program leader and
innovator, Joyce’s deep background brings to AMG and AAPC 20 years of
developing and implementing strategic plans to grow non-profit
organizations’ customers, revenues and influence through profitable,
world class educational programs, certification courses and research
initiatives.
AAPC has been managed by AMG since 2010 and is
the largest association of political and public affairs professionals
in the world.
