McLEAN, Va., February 15, 2010—Association Management Group (AMG),
the largest Washington, DC-based association management company,
announces the addition of its newest client, the Emergency Department
Practice Management Association (EDPMA). EDPMA’s transition to AMG took
place immediately with full service beginning February 1st.

AMG will begin full management services by hiring an
Executive Director to guide EDPMA’s leadership and enhance the
resources offered by the 13 year old organization. AMG and EDPMA will
work together to provide comprehensive education programs , a
foundation for managing EDPMA’s various task forces that focus on
critical industry issues like quality reporting, Medicare payment,
documentation guidelines, quality initiatives, managed care, provider
enrollment, and health care reform.
EDPMA members deliver quality health care to Americans in the emergency department day and night. Its mission is to advocate
for emergency department physician groups and their partners to
enhance quality patient care through operational excellence and
financial stability. EDPMA is focused on advocating for beneficial
policies for emergency physician groups and educating its members about
emerging legislative and regulatory issues. Together with a
comprehensive slate of Task Forces and advocacy initiatives, EDPMA’s
